For those of you who were unable to attend,
did not know about, or are yearning to see "Exposing Myself"
at least one more time--- you have ONE
chance left! (Until mid-2003, at least)
The last few weeks have brought about some exciting prospects for
the show. There was a sudden burst of industry attendance the last
weekend of the run, and from those attendees have come many a phone
call, meetings, and finger-crossings! Enough interest has been generated
that another run is being planned for Summer 2003. "Exposing
Myself" will be slightly revamped
with the help of some swell theatre, television, and literary folk,
and the sophomore run will be more widely publicized and hopefully
generate some further growth for Apricott.
To assist in this upcoming run and its promotion, Apricott Productions
will be hosting a one night only
performance of Exposing Myself" on Saturday,
Januray 4th, 2003 at 7:30 PM at the Hudson Avenue Theatre
in Hollywood. Click here for directions.
Admission to this performance is free.
Guests are very welcome. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve
basis. The performance will be filmed for use in promotional/media
packages for the 2003 run. The bigger the audience for the taping,
the better! Bring anyone in any quantity.

"Exposing Myself" is a unique new theatre experience where
stand-up comedy and musical theatre collide. Scott Borden, a Generation
X Charlie Brown, is forced to undergo court-ordered therapy after
a hilarious mishap brings about a run-in with the law. Throughout
his sessions, Scott shares with his therapist a mess of wildly entertaining
stories and the comical trials and tribulations that led up to his
couch-warming duties. With its revolving door of wacky characters,
a blossoming romance, and a Walter Mitty-like musical fantasy, "Exposing
Myself" blends solo performance, original songs, audience participation,
and a squad of sexy showgirls to tell the story of how one young
man learns to cope with his troubles, and find happiness along the
way.
The groundbreaking concept of "Exposing
Myself" was taken to new heights and transformed into a multi-media
entertainment property with the partnership of Apricott Productions
and C2C Entertainment Group, a leading full-service media and entertainment
company. The show's production process is the focus of a short film
being helmed by rising filmmaker Michael Kirsch, whose vast work
in film includes the Academy Award-nominated IMAX feature "Dolphins".
